Lucifer Furnaces ships heavy duty heat treating ovens for use in wheel barrow production by leading lawn and garden tool manufacturer.
Lucifer Furnaces, Inc. has shipped 2 heat treating oven units to Ames True Temper, a leader in non-powered lawn and garden tools. Both the Lucifer heat treating furnace and the industrial oven will be used to bring their heat treating in-house at their Just-In-Time facility in Harrisburg, PA where their primary product is wheelbarrows. These units both have chambers sizes of 12”x14”x18” with 4.5” of energy efficient lightweight fire brick insulation and mineral wool block. Heavy gauge low watt density heating elements are mounted in easily removable side wall panels while a ceramic hearth plate supports the work load and protects the floor brick. All instrumentation is mounted in separate NEMA 1 control panels on the side of the units. Horizontal swing doors with multilayered ceramic fiber insulation, heavy duty hinges and a cam lock insure a tight seal. The oven features a high volume CFM fan mounted through the rear for uniformity and heats to 1200°F. The furnace heats to 2200°F. These heavy duty, economical units heat up quickly and hold temperature well.
